The CJPA IGNITE (Innovations Generating New Ideas in Transformative Excellence) Program of the Year Award recognizes exceptional correctional programs that demonstrate groundbreaking approaches to inmate rehabilitation, education, and successful community reintegration.
The CJPA COMPASS (Commitment to Outstanding Mentorship, Progress & Support Services) Employee of the Year Award honors exceptional corrections professionals who demonstrate outstanding dedication, leadership, and impact in their service to their facility, colleagues, and incarcerated individuals. This prestigious recognition celebrates staff members who go above and beyond their duties to create positive change and maintain the highest standards of correctional practice. ***There will be 2 awards; one for civilian program staff and one for county jail staff.***
